Requirements
- Advanced degree or related experience in Engineering, Chemistry, or related Technology field
- Several years global experience in process technology or chemical manufacturing
- Several years of relevant technical leadership experience in chemical process technology
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and lead large, complex global initiatives
- Outstanding process-oriented thinking and sound engineering approaches
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in customer interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment

Tasks
- Provide visionary leadership for a global chemical process technology and analytical organization
- Drive company-wide process technology and analytical chemistry innovation
- Establish state-of-the-art unit operations to enhance cost position and market viability
- Oversee scale-up and commercialization of new products
- Deliver robust technology solutions in collaboration with global manufacturing
- Assess competitive technologies to benchmark current operations
- Develop short and long-range plans for significant advancements
- Lead a team of skilled scientists and engineers in delivering new chemical process technology
- Set the vision and technical direction through a long-term strategy and technology roadmap
- Lead innovation of next-generation competitive manufacturing technology
- Track chemical process technology trends and patent developments
- Manage the global program portfolio and prioritize technical resources
- Drive activities of the global research team for sustainable margin growth
- Oversee pilot facilities for excellence in product scale-up and process development
- Implement strategic productivity and capacity initiatives across all sites
- Foster an engaged and motivated organization through effective communication
- Optimize the talent pipeline through hiring, training, and development programs
- Champion an open and inclusive organizational culture
- Provide process technology leadership for continuous improvement in production
- Serve as the EHS ambassador for safety and compliance
- Collaborate with manufacturing to meet customer product needs
- Work with product development and marketing for successful product scale-ups
- Develop and implement new analytical test methods with Quality Control
- Lead business process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Challenge existing practices and encourage entrepreneurial thinking
- Document knowledge and best practices for global transfer
- Ensure operations stay within budget and on schedule
- Develop and oversee capital investment programs and project execution
- Manage special projects as directed by executive leadership
- Provide process technology consulting to global manufacturing
- Continuously assess skills and capabilities for future success
- Deliver presentations to Senior Business Leadership on achievements
