Requirements
- Advanced university degree in pharmacy, laboratory science, or biomedical/chemical engineering
- Project management, process improvement, or organizational change qualifications
- Minimum 5-year professional experience in Pharmaceutical Products, including quality & risk management and regulatory affairs
- Experience partnering with UN agencies, International NGOs, and Donors on QA issues
- Demonstrable experience managing complex situations/issues at country, regional, or international level
- Experience developing QA related policies, tools, and guidance
- Minimum 7 years professional experience in Pharmaceutical Products design & manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience working in diverse teams to lead and collaborate effectively in complex, multi-disciplinary environment
- Extensive work experience with a major multilateral organization
- Experience living and/or working in a Global Fund supported country
- History of holding positions of incremental responsibility
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Good working knowledge of French (preferred)
- Knowledge of other languages (asset)

Tasks
- Contribute to continuous improvements of QA requirements
- Share QA issues, challenges, and risks
- Suggest innovative and constructive solutions
- Increase knowledge on quality assurance principles
- Develop institutional QA culture
- Maintain good relationships with partners
- Collaborate with WHO, technical partners, and manufacturers
- Work toward QA decision and approach harmonization
- Represent the Global Fund in interagency working groups
- Support internal stakeholders in QA decision implementation
- Maintain history of quality and safety signals
- Verify product eligibility
- Update and publish lists of eligible products
- Lead investigations of quality complaints and safety events
- Advise on risk-mitigation measures
- Assess country risk
- Support in-country risk mitigation
- Collaborate with partners to identify and mitigate risks
- Manage the ERP process with WHO
- Support implementation of Quality Assurance Strategic Initiative
- Contribute to QA process improvement and documentation
- Provide advice during verification activities
- Engage and supervise QA/QC service providers
- Strengthen collaboration and communication within and across teams
