Sourcing health technologies and diagnostics for HIV, TB, and Malaria prevention. 5-10 years public/private health product sourcing experience required. Support for LMIC engagement.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in health, science, or business field, ideally with business administration or financial qualification
- 5-10 years demonstrated experience in public/private health product sourcing & supplier relationship management
- Extensive product category management experience
- Health Technologies and Diagnostics sourcing and supply chain management experience
- Relevant experience engaging with/within Lower Middle Income Countries (LMICs)
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Good working knowledge of French (preferred)
- Knowledge of other languages (asset)

- Collaborate with governments and major suppliers
- Design and develop product category strategy and global tendering
- Leverage product and supplier knowledge for category strategy
- Manage operational implementation of product category strategy
- Manage tender outcomes and contracts
- Manage supplier performance against KPIs
- Ensure compliance and value delivery in contract implementation
- Allocate demand to meet contractual requirements
- Optimize value delivery from strategy and tender outcomes
- Implement supply and demand interventions
- Identify strategic sourcing opportunities to leverage spend
- Implement market shaping strategy objectives
- Ensure availability and affordability of category products
- Promote consistent quality standards for category products
- Support innovation through supplier relationship management
- Accelerate adoption of new and cost-effective products
- Transfer category knowledge and promote strategic sourcing best practices
- Prepare for country transition and long-term market viability
- Support product and timing solutions for Principal Recipient requests
- Identify business needs and opportunities in category management
- Identify challenges in category management
