- Contribute to new antenna projects and upgrades
- Define technical specifications and statements of work
- Participate in procurement as an expert
- Support design reviews and factory acceptance tests
- Conduct site acceptance tests
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
- Create and review design and documentation
- Monitor ground station data provision and archiving
- Provide performance assessments for operational incidents
- Deploy, test, and validate technical solutions at ESA sites
- Support operations during critical phases
- Monitor scientific and technological trends
- Maintain state-of-the-art expertise in the technical domain
- Participate in technology development activities
- Support requirement definition for prototypes
- Evaluate achievements in technology development
- Participate in studies of new operational concepts
- Use weather forecasts for link optimization
- Develop link budget tools
- Monitor and assess space link performance
- Manage ESTRACK data production, archiving, and dissemination
