Acquiring and onboarding new merchants for payment modernization services. 'Hunter' mentality and client relationship-building skills required. Territory management, daily client support.
Requirements
- Self-driven 'hunter' mentality
- Confidence in building trust and client relationships
- Resilient, proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage own territory
- Professional, reliable, values-driven approach
- Discretion and trustworthiness
- Completed secondary education
- Proven experience in outside/field sales
- Experience ideally in payments, financial services, telecom, or tech
- Track record of meeting sales targets
- Experience working with CRM systems
- Strong communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Confidence using laptops, smartphones, and digital tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel within territory
- Fluent German
- Fluent English
- Additional European languages are a plus
- Valid work authorization for Austria
Tasks
- Identify and approach new merchants
- Present payment terminals and services
- Close new deals
- Onboard merchants onto the platform
- Support existing clients with services
- Understand merchant needs and challenges
- Communicate the value of payment solutions
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Tailor commercial solutions based on statements
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Manage sales pipeline
- Collaborate with manager and internal teams
- Build product and market knowledge
