Software Engineering Intern, Autonomous Vehicle Calibration(m/w/x)
Algorithm development for vehicle fleet calibration, analyzing operating fleet data for failure modes. Strong mathematical fundamentals, C++/Python skills in Linux, and robotics/ML algorithms experience required. Exposure to Deep Learning and AI in a supercomputing environment.
Requirements
- Pursuing BS/MS or higher in computer science, robotics, or related engineering field
- Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods
- Experience with algorithms in Robotics, Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning
- Good C++ and Python skills in a Linux environment, familiarity with version control
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and teamwork
- Experience with innovative sensor calibration algorithms
- Advanced programming and debugging experience on Linux and QNX
- Robotics/estimation/controls project or applied research experience in a group
- Experience with relevant recent geometry/feature-oriented DNNs
- Relevant projects using state of the art machine vision/sensor pipelines
Tasks
- Work on algorithms for vehicle fleet calibration
- Analyze data from the operating fleet to identify calibration failure modes
- Develop tools to detect potential calibration issues
- Enhance stability and productize calibration implementation
