Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • •Fluent English communication skills
  • •Minimum 2+ years of experience in C/C++ development
  • •Strong understanding of SQL databases, preferably MySQL
  • •Strong understanding of DBMS internal algorithms
  • •Strong understanding of compression and encryption algorithms
  • •Experience with client/server or distributed network communication systems
  • •Experience with high concurrency threading models
  • •Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as BASH, Perl, and Python
  • •Proficiency with tools like gdb and strace
  • •Proficiency with git, github, and source code management
  • •Knowledge of Open Source software concepts
  • •Knowledge of high-performance algorithms on multicore hardware
  • •Established history of driving performance enhancements
  • •Proven experience in implementing features in Databases
  • •Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools
  • •Experience with issue tracking and communication tools
  • •Experience with various Linux distribution packaging systems
  • •Experience with virtualization and containment tools
  • •Experience in Linux systems administration
  • •Success working in a distributed environment
  • •Ability to work autonomously and asynchronously
