Description

As a Software Architect, you will design scalable architectures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into practical solutions. Your role involves guiding development, promoting best practices, and continuously evolving systems for optimal performance.

Requirements

• •10+ years of experience in software development
• •3+ years of experience in a Technical Architect, Chief Architect, or similar technical leadership role
• •Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C++
• •Proven ability to perform and make decisions in fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environments
• •Demonstrated ability to analyze, refactor, and document complex systems
• •Deep understanding of architecture principles, design patterns, and modern system paradigms
• •Proven ability to identify and articulate key algorithms, flows, and design patterns
• •Demonstrated experience architecting systems for scale
• •Demonstrated leadership in defining architectural standards, driving technical governance
• •Strong problem-solving and system-level thinking
• •Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
• •Practical experience with databases and data modeling, covering SQL and NoSQL systems
• •Excellent grasp of DevOps principles
• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Tasks

• •Design robust and scalable architectures for various systems
• •Use systems-level thinking to structure components for reliability
• •Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to translate requirements into architectures
• •Write and review technical proposals to ensure alignment with architecture principles
• •Guide development through code reviews and building proof of concepts
• •Define skeleton structures and ensure technical consistency across teams
• •Promote architectural standards and best practices across the organization
• •Analyze and document existing architectures using open standards like the C4 model
• •Explain core algorithms and design patterns in clear terms for diverse audiences
• •Identify and record Important Technical Decisions for traceability
• •Evaluate and evolve existing architectures for improved performance
• •Propose refactorings and modernization initiatives as needed
• •Mentor engineering teams in system design and documentation best practices
• •Stay updated with new tools and frameworks to enhance systems and processes
