Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment or equivalent project experience during studies
- Understanding of MES systems and shop floor IoT integration
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Fluency in English and German (business proficiency required)
- Experience in IT infrastructure (networking, cybersecurity, hardware integration) is a plus
- Analytical thinking with ability to evaluate processes and propose data-driven improvements
- Problem-solving with focus on new technologies and solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in working across teams and stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and adjust to evolving technologies and environments
- Ability to take initiative, drive change, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
- Strong result-orientation with focus on delivering measurable outcomes and achieving business goals efficiently
Tasks
- Consult business teams on investment projects and process optimizations
- Leverage existing IS systems for effective application and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities for innovative solutions
- Evaluate new investments and applications with a structured approach
- Ensure alignment with IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity
- Identify trends and technologies in Industry 4.0 to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with business teams to find technology-driven process improvements
- Manage the Factory Management Applications Portfolio, including MES and IoT integration
- Ensure seamless integration of Backend Systems with Manufacturing Control Systems
- Collaborate with process owners and IS teams to drive value creation
- Ensure IS security and compliance within the production application landscape
- Consult on integration options for the manufacturing IT system landscape
- Lead IT system integration efforts for new IoT equipment
- Drive process digitalization to ensure end-to-end improvement for new investments
