Integrating sensor data for level-5 autonomous flying vehicles at an autonomy developer. 2+ years hands-on experience with radar, lidar, or cameras required. L&D budget, gym membership.
Requirements
- At least 2 years hands-on working experience with at least two of the following sensor types: radar, lidar, cameras
- In-depth knowledge of various sensor types (lidar, radar, cameras, IMUs, GPS), their operating principles, strengths, weaknesses, and data characteristics
- Good programming skills in C++
- Experience with sensor fusion algorithms
- Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Tasks
- Research and analyze suitable sensors
- Prepare raw sensor data for fusion
- Align, synchronize, and calibrate data
- Reduce noise and handle outliers
- Design algorithms for data integration
- Implement sensor fusion techniques
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams
- Test sensors and validate algorithms
- Ensure accuracy and reliability in real-world scenarios
