Senior System Engineer Radar SoC - Product Line Detect(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or Semiconductor Physics
- Extensive Radar SoC architecture experience
- Deep knowledge of RFCMOS technology
- Deep knowledge of digital back-end processing
- Proven track record implementing complex signal processing algorithms on HWAs or specialized DSPs
- Strong understanding of silicon performance and radar KPIs interaction
- Ability to negotiate technical trade-offs with external suppliers
- Ability to present complex architectural choices to management
Tasks
- Act as primary technical interface with key semiconductor suppliers
- Align supplier product roadmaps with Valeo’s requirements
- Optimize Hardware Accelerator (HWA) architectures for radar algorithms
- Maximize throughput and minimize power consumption in HWA designs
- Assess and benchmark competitor chipsets
- Perform deep-dive analyses on internal architectures, memory bandwidth, and processing latencies
- Define high-level requirements for next-generation Radar SoCs
- Specify ADC sampling rates, phase noise requirements, and integrated DSP/HWA capabilities
- Collaborate with System and Hardware Architects
- Ensure chip technology aligns with radar sensor constraints
- Provide high-level troubleshooting for complex chip-level issues
- Resolve hardware-software interface bottlenecks and RF front-end non-linearities
