Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
- 3-5 years Software Engineering experience; ideally 2 years Deep Learning/AI
- Experience with MLIR, dialects, passes, compiler infrastructure
- Solid understanding of compiler design principles, graph-based IRs
- Experience with AI model frameworks (PyTorch, ONNX, TensorFlow)
- Proven experience implementing graph-level optimizations
- Strong C++ and Python programming skills
- Experience in collaborative engineering teams
- Excellent communication, knowledge sharing, and mentoring skills
- Experience with custom AI accelerators or specialized hardware
- Background in computer architecture, heterogeneous systems
- Experience with AI compiler stacks (Torch-MLIR, TVM, XLA, Glow)
- Experience optimizing AI workloads
- Familiarity with frontend model ingestion, compiler pipelines
Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain frontend/graph-level MLIR components
- Develop and optimize performance-critical graph transformations
- Extend and maintain MLIR dialects, passes, and infrastructure
- Integrate AI models from PyTorch, ONNX, TensorFlow
- Lower AI models into internal compiler representations
- Collaborate with hardware and backend compiler teams
- Ensure efficient mapping to heterogeneous architectures
- Support and mentor team members on MLIR infrastructure
- Analyze model graphs for optimization
- Implement optimizations for performance and efficiency
- Contribute to compiler architecture and tooling design
- Debug and profile compiler performance
- Improve compiler performance and correctness
