In this role, you will engage in site-related procurement, collaborating with local and global teams to optimize costs and develop effective sourcing strategies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analyzing market trends, managing suppliers, and negotiating contracts.

Requirements

• •University degree or commercial training with relevant experience in strategic procurement
• •Minimum 5 years of professional experience in purchasing
• •Strong experience in supplier and contract management
• •Proficient user of SAP (MM) and MS Office applications
• •Excellent German (C1) and English language skills
• •Team player who enjoys working with colleagues
• •Experience in cross-functional projects
• •Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset
• •Excellent negotiation and communication skills at all organizational levels

Tasks

• •Procure local plant supplies and services
• •Analyze the local procurement market
• •Participate in regional and global sourcing projects
• •Collaborate with teams and suppliers on sourcing strategies
• •Optimize total cost of ownership for German sites
• •Develop and implement cost-saving programs with suppliers
• •Manage suppliers and maintain an effective evaluation program
• •Create and maintain procurement plans and best practices
• •Negotiate and prepare agreements and contracts
• •Identify and assess procurement risks and benefits
• •Present risk mitigation proposals clearly
• •Contribute reliable cost estimates to the annual budgeting process
