- Experience in regulated environment (IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
- Expert knowledge in firmware testing
- Expert knowledge in embedded design
- Expert knowledge in implementing automated test frameworks
- Experience with defect management in firmware/software
- Expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols
- Expertise in functional safety
- Expertise in cybersecurity
- Enjoyment of working in agile, globally distributed teams
- Excellent business fluency in English
Tasks
- Ensure quality and compliance of embedded firmware solutions
- Assume end-to-end responsibility for software verification
- Plan, execute, and document software tests throughout development
- Focus on flexible and expandable architectures
- Ensure full traceability and coverage of system-level requirements
- Define and implement device-level automation test frameworks
- Integrate CI/CD for rapid and safe firmware updates
- Oversee defect management and resolution workflows
- Serve as SME for firmware verification defects
- Conduct rigorous risk analysis and thorough documentation
- Define verification strategy for wireless communication (BLE)
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards
- Provide technical guidance to agile testing teams
- Establish standards for the Near Patient Care department
- Promote knowledge sharing through training and consulting
