Requirements
- University degree in relevant field
- Strong understanding of OTA update architectures
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity
- Understanding of functional safety and SOTIF principles
- Familiarity with type approval and homologation frameworks
- Ability to interpret regulatory standards and specifications
- Diplomatic yet firm communication
- Ability to influence engineering decisions (regulatory)
- Professional leadership of internal and external teams
Tasks
- Develop governance for compliant software updates in agile environments
- Translate regulatory and standards into actionable engineering guidelines
- Maintain software update compliance across all lifecycle stages
- Adhere to cybersecurity, safety, and availability requirements
- Define and maintain the Software Update Management System (SUMS)
- Conduct internal audits
- Support external regulatory audits and type approvals
- Prepare compliance reports, safety cases, and regulatory evidence
- Recommend process and tooling improvements for compliance automation
