Requirements
- University degree in relevant field
- Strong understanding of OTA update architectures (vehicle ECUs, telematics units, backend systems)
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity
- Understanding of functional safety and SOTIF principles
- Familiarity with type approval processes and homologation frameworks
- Ability to read and interpret regulatory standards and technical specifications
- Diplomatic and firm appearance and communication
- Ability to influence engineering decisions through regulatory perspective
- Professional leadership of internal and external teams
Tasks
- Develop governance for compliant software updates in an agile environment
- Translate regulatory and standards into actionable engineering guidelines
- Ensure software update compliance across all lifecycle stages
- Maintain compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and availability requirements
- Define and maintain the Software Update Management System
- Conduct internal audits
- Support external regulatory audits
- Support type approval activities
- Prepare compliance reports
- Prepare safety case documents
- Prepare regulatory evidence packages
- Recommend process and tooling improvements for compliance automation
