Tasks
- Translate consumer and business needs into technology opportunities
- Convert vague ideas into clear engineering hypotheses
- Ideate and sketch new hardware components for next-gen food & beverage ecosystems
- Rapidly move from concept to feasibility checks
- Scout and benchmark emerging technologies, materials, and partners
- Challenge existing norms to identify user experience improvements
- Design and prototype quickly using CAD and simulations
- Iterate on form, function, manufacturability, and performance
- Create compelling proof of concepts with engineering rigor and creativity
- Use prototyping, test rigs, and data scripts to validate performance
- Generate UX/UI journeys to ensure seamless product and service integration
- Co-develop with IoT and electronics teams
- Align interfaces, constraints, power, thermal requirements, and connectivity
- Communicate trade-offs and technical insights clearly to business stakeholders
- Document and capture lessons learned
- Convert prototypes into reusable modules, methods, and design standards
