Tasks
- Develop future sorbent technologies based on key performance indicators
- Stay updated with emerging sorbent technologies through literature, patents, and industry networks
- Apply advanced analytical tools for rapid technical feasibility assessments
- Develop structured evaluation frameworks to identify promising sorbent materials
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize next-generation sorbents in the market
- Run testing campaigns to assess sorbent potential for Climeworks’ technology
- Support the build-up and maintenance of a sorbent database
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory infrastructure
- Implement a safety-first culture in the lab
- Accurately document all experimental work
- Protect confidential concepts and arrange NDAs when needed
- Inform patent stakeholders about new ideas and designs
- Follow Climeworks safety rules
- Communicate potential risks
- Participate in safety exercises and trainings
