Developing combinatorial algorithms for superconducting full-stack systems and real QPU implementation. Minimum of two peer-reviewed publications in quantum research required. Creative environment with access to on-premises hardware and cloud systems.
Requirements
- Master’s, Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 2–3 publications in quantum algorithm research
- Background in quantum computing, information, and classical computer science
- Knowledge of classical optimization and hybrid quantum-classical approaches
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks
- Ability to design scalable quantum algorithms and libraries
- Analytical, mathematical modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with scientific writing and technical documentation
- Clear communication of complex technical concepts
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, accountability, and drive for excellence
Tasks
- Advance quantum optimization methods
- Integrate quantum methods into computational workflows
- Develop quantum algorithms for combinatorial problems
- Design algorithms considering circuit structure and hardware
- Implement and iterate algorithms on real QPUs
- Integrate quantum subroutines into classical optimization methods
- Design and optimize novel quantum algorithms
- Benchmark quantum algorithms against classical counterparts
- Simulate quantum algorithms on classical hardware
- Assess algorithm performance and scalability
- Develop and maintain scalable software libraries
- Ensure software integration into broader applications
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and research teams
- Publish research results in technical publications
- Present findings at conferences and meetings
- Design experiments to validate and benchmark algorithms
- Execute experiments to debug and refine algorithms
- Contribute to customer consulting and proof-of-concept projects
- Create technical documentation and reports
- Produce educational content
- Mentor team members through knowledge sharing
- Participate actively in technical discussions
