Senior Quality Specialist(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry
- Advanced degree (plus)
- Strong applied laboratory experience
- At least five years industrial experience
- Experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, resins, or advanced materials manufacturing
- Proven track record in quality control and assurance
- Confident with material characterization and release testing
- Proficiency in GC, IC, HPLC, FTIR, TGA, BET surface area, moisture and elemental analysis, and particle size methods
- Ability to choose fit for purpose methods for routine release and investigations
- Deep expertise in method validation and verification
- Experience designing protocols, defining specifications and acceptance criteria
- Experience estimating measurement uncertainty and detection limits
- Ensuring data integrity across the full data life cycle
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining inspection ready documentation
- Authoring SOPs, test methods and work instructions
- Operating within ISO based quality frameworks
- Experienced in planning and conducting supplier and manufacturer audits on QC topics
- Assessing quality systems and measurement capability
- Gathering evidence and driving corrective and preventive actions
- Fluent with LIMS and SAP QM for sample management, specification control, results review and release workflows
- Confident collaboration with suppliers, manufacturers, Procurement, Product Owners and Operations
- Clear and pragmatic communication in English

Tasks
- Ensure robust quality control and assurance for sorbent materials
- Deliver compliant, inspection-ready outcomes and reliable product decisions
- Plan and coordinate QC campaigns for sorbents and related materials
- Oversee measurements to meet workload and timelines
- Review and approve QC data within defined specifications and standards
- Maintain inspection-ready documentation and records in SAP QM and linked systems
- Manage deviations and change controls from QC activities
- Conduct accurate root-cause analysis with preventive actions
- Perform method validation activities for accuracy and timely execution
- Prepare and support audits on QC topics, including supplier-related evidence
- Identify bottlenecks in QC processes and documentation
- Apply risk-based thinking to propose and implement lean improvements
- Reduce rework, cycle time, and compliance risk
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of LIMS and SAP QM
- Act as the QC technical interface to suppliers and manufacturers
- Support Procurement with commercial and contractual topics
- Support the Product Owner on applications and operations discussions
- Align timelines and QC deliverables with plant requirements
- Decide on QC record content quality and investigation strategy
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and QC standards
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and risk mitigations
- Develop QC metrics and reporting routines
- Escalate issues affecting product quality, compliance, or delivery timing
