- Sound knowledge of packaging legislation, regulatory guidance, and industry standards
- Excellent documentation practices (user requirements, design control, specifications, protocols/reports, risk assessments, shipping qualification)
- Excellent project management skills in cross-functional projects
- Innovative spirit through design thinking, design management, and driving creativity
- Fostering team effectiveness, team spirit, and alignment
- Sharing risks within the team
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-paced environment

- Evaluate and screen new packaging technologies

- Represent the function in cross-functional review boards
- Initiate improvements with stakeholders
- Maintain a network in the packaging specialist area
- Bring and develop packaging expertise
- Communicate between Marketing, Manufacturing, and suppliers
