Requirements
- 5+ years backend engineering experience

- Expertise in Go, Python, or Rust
- Deep experience with Ontology Engineering, Knowledge Graphs, or Semantic Data Modeling
- Understanding of RDF, OWL, and querying complex relationships (SPARQL/GraphQL)
- Experience or deep interest in physical-world software interaction (IoT, robotics, digital twins, or industrial automation)
- Ability to define system architecture
- Preference for clean, extensible models
- Experience building real-time data pipelines
- Comfort spending time on production floor
- Ability to work on-site in Zurich
- Ability to design systems tolerating noisy, ambiguous data
- Comfort with industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT)
Tasks
- Design the SAEKI Factory Ontology
- Implement the SAEKI Factory Ontology
- Build the AI reasoning layer
- Bridge machine telemetry and manufacturing logic
- Define how systems are built
- Build real-time data pipelines for telemetry
- Validate data models on the shop floor
- Interface with machine telemetry
