Requirements
- Juris Doctor or master’s degree in law
- 10-12 years corporate legal experience in multicultural environments
- Expertise in Labor & Employment law
- Combination of law firm and in-house experience desirable
- Knowledge of corporate business legal aspects
- Knowledge of contracts, stakeholder relations, regulatory adherence
- Protecting intellectual property rights for consumer brands
- Understanding of corporate legal landscape
- Understanding of regulatory matters, compliance, litigation, risk management
- Understanding of corporate governance
- Ability to establish systems and scalable processes
- Ability to establish internal policies and procedures
- Experience in budget formulation, allocation, and fiscal management
- Ability to convey intricate legal topics clearly and persuasively
- Thriving in inclusive, diverse, multicultural workspace
- English fluency
- Proficiency in additional regional languages advantageous
- Exceptional legal research, analytical reasoning, and drafting prowess
Tasks
- Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal support across corporate activities
- Identify, lead, and coordinate labour & employment advice
- Translate employment risk into clear business actions
- Support consistent employment risk management and reporting
- Monitor legal nuances impacting corporate governance, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Offer informed legal direction on specified legal matters
- Collaborate with other Business Area leads to identify common strategic intersections
- Establish and maintain a consistent labour & employment governance framework
- Supervise the creation, negotiation, and finalization of pivotal corporate contracts
- Innovate and execute methodologies to identify and mitigate potential legal risks
- Collaborate with Legal Ops to develop and maintain compliance tools and procedures
- Exercise oversight over external legal entity engagements
- Conceive and oversee educational campaigns on corporate-related legal themes
- Draft and deliver strategic legal reports to regional and global hierarchies
- Participate in and lead various committees and strategic roundtables
