Senior IT Operations Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• IT education, advanced IT training, or relevant experience
• Proven experience in similar role or environment
• 'Run the Bank' knowledge and operational efficiency
• Expert Windows and Linux application administration
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting and Web Servers
• Knowledge of Networks and System Security
• Strong teamwork and trust-building skills
• Flexibility and willingness to face challenges
• Keenness to learn new tools and technologies
• Independent and efficient problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage small projects
• Solid written and spoken English communication
• German language skills (plus)
• Experience with Container Platforms (advantageous)
• Knowledge of Cloud Technology (advantageous)
• Knowledge of CICD, DevOps, and Monitoring
• Knowledge of Active Directory, SSO, and SAML
• Knowledge of PKI Infrastructure and Kerberos
• Knowledge of Managed File Transfer concepts

Tasks

• Execute daily tasks to ensure application availability
• Maintain stability of business applications and services
• Engineer and implement smart automation and DevOps solutions
• Develop Infrastructure as Code aligned with organizational goals
• Troubleshoot technical issues with providers and developers
• Schedule and monitor system processes around the clock
• Onboard and install applications following banking security standards
• Update applications and interfaces per security protocols
• Administer Windows, Linux, and OpenShift platforms
• Continuously improve bank applications, systems, and processes
• Collaborate with external infrastructure and service providers
