Senior Financial Planner & Business Partner(m/w/x)
Financial strategy development and continuous improvement of planning tools for an international cooperation organization. Professional accounting qualification and 10+ years of financial planning experience required. Monthly Managing Board and Audit & Risk Committee reporting.
Requirements
- Degree in relevant field
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- 10+ years professional experience in financial planning, performance, business partnering
- Outstanding strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Expertise in Financial Planning and Performance (FPP)
- Demonstrated track record in Financial Business Partnering
- Promoting process excellence
- Implementing continuous improvement practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Active listening abilities
- High degree of emotional intelligence
- Effective stakeholder engagement
- Strong presentation skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong controls mindset and behaviours
- Proactive, practical, pragmatic, flexible, hands-on
- Customer-focused, solution-based, results-oriented
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) a plus
Tasks
- Partner with Forum Centres and functions to develop financial strategies
- Drive continuous improvement in financial planning and budgeting processes
- Contribute to the review and development of planning and forecasting tools
- Prepare monthly Managing Board reports and regular Audit & Risk Committee reports
- Provide variance analysis and proactive financial controlling follow-up
- Enhance management reporting processes and stakeholder reports
- Build robust relationships with key stakeholders across the Forum
- Develop a trusted advisor role, focusing on value and customer service
- Promote the use of financial technologies and innovative solutions
- Collaborate with the Finance team to foster a positive team culture
- Encourage a customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset
