Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will engage in high-level design and project management, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in datacenter projects. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions while balancing cost and operational needs.

Requirements

• •Knowledge of all aspects of electrical engineering
• •Responsibility to interface and coordinate with stakeholders
• •Ability to translate requirements into solutions
• •Fluency in German and English (speaking and writing)
• •Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• •Substantial experience in electrical power design and construction
• •Accredited engineering credentials preferred
• •Data Center and/or mission critical experience
• •Experience with EU construction markets required, NA construction markets preferred
• •Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, AmpCalc and ETAP modelling software
• •Understanding of Revit, BIM and Navisworks environments
• •Working knowledge of critical power infrastructure in data center projects
• •Working knowledge of building and fire codes ordinances, including IEC standards
• •National and international travel required expected to be 10 to 15%

• •Evaluate designs for CAPEX and OPEX balance
• •Interface with clients during design and construction
• •Provide technical engineering information for datacenter compliance
• •Ensure adherence to engineering standards and codes
• •Create and review commissioning scripts
• •Attend project design team meetings
• •Process project plans and participate in approvals
• •Conduct on-site job walks and meetings
• •Review sequences of operations for electrical systems
• •Support site operations in troubleshooting existing systems
• •Review project plans and equipment submittals
• •Coordinate with internal engineering teams across disciplines
• •Conduct value engineering analyses and provide recommendations
• •Participate in product development and patent applications
• •Ensure constructed products meet engineering specifications
• •Balance cost-effective solutions with operational sustainability
• •Provide project coordination and commissioning support
• •Utilize engineering analysis programs for load and lighting analysis
• •Manage internal and external design teams
• •Perform additional duties as assigned
