Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of power system protection
• Experience configuring and testing protection IEDs
• Proficiency in C++ and ADA
• Experience with Adwin Pro and OMICRON
• Track record delivering complex features
• Experience triaging and resolving product feedback
• Direct customer support and interaction skills
• Collaboration with cross functional teams
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or equivalent
• Familiarity with IEC protection system standards
• Experience in test automation at scale
• Strong systems engineering mindset
• Experience crafting customer specific adaptations
• Scripting skills and willingness to learn
• Effective communication and task ownership
• Support for factory and acceptance testing

Tasks

• Design and coordinate busbar protection settings
• Perform fault studies and analyze CT behavior
• Configure and test protection IEDs using IEC 61850
• Develop embedded applications using C++ and ADA
• Execute automated testing with Adwin Pro and OMICRON
• Deliver complex features from architecture to integration
• Perform root cause analysis on product feedback
• Elicit requirements through direct customer interaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product management
• Create operational documentation for engineering and testing
• Manage backlogs and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Analyze and resolve IEC standard conformance findings
• Scale test automation using data-driven validation
• Draft implementation proposals for complex system features
• Develop customer-specific adaptations to minimize rework
• Write scripts in Ruby to accelerate workflows
