- Strong background and experience in oncology
- 10+ years' experience in Medical Affairs with country leadership track record
- Experience with scientific data generation, clinical trial interpretation, and complex data communication
- Proven value and benefit assessment experience with understanding of midsized markets access, local healthcare systems and regulatory landscape
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Proven experience supporting oncology product launches in European market
- Biotech experience
- Excellent communication skills, in person and virtual
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities in entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated strong leadership presence
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Scientific and solution-oriented mindset for rapidly changing, ambiguous environments
- Strong understanding of local healthcare systems, customer dynamics, and reimbursement environment
- Highly organized and motivated with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic small company environment and adjusts priorities based on changing needs
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
Tasks
- Lead medical strategy and execution for oncology products
- Contribute to Midsized Markets Leadership Team discussions
- Develop medical strategy for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases
- Oversee all aspects of medical strategy and execution
- Align efforts with access, regulatory, and commercial objectives
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on medical strategy
- Translate global medical strategies into local context
- Represent the company as a senior medical expert
- Analyze and interpret clinical data for strategic insights
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific societies
- Lead scientific exchange and advisory board meetings
- Provide medical leadership on evidence generation activities
- Execute publication plans and scientific communication
- Lead medical launch readiness for oncology products
- Support value communication and reimbursement interactions
- Manage lifecycle activities for oncology products
- Review and approve non-promotional materials
- Recruit and build country Medical teams
- Establish medical processes and governance
- Foster a culture of scientific rigor and compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Represent Midsized Markets Medical Affairs in governance forums
