Senior DevOps Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• 5+ years DevOps or Infrastructure experience
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience with CI/CD and pipeline optimisation
• Knowledge of GCP and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Kubernetes and GKE knowledge
• Experience improving security posture
• Understanding of Datadog and observability tools
• Experience executing infrastructure or database upgrades
• Excellent communication skills
• Responsibility for reliability and security
• Experience in regulated environments (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (Nice to have)
• Exposure to cost optimization (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with monorepo tooling (Nice to have)
• Interest in building foundations and structure

Tasks

• Design and build cloud infrastructure foundations
• Own infrastructure across development and production environments
• Develop an infrastructure roadmap aligned with growth
• Support the transition to service-oriented architecture
• Execute database upgrades with minimal downtime
• Enforce security-first engineering and access controls
• Manage secrets and protect production systems
• Implement dependency audits and security scans
• Mitigate infrastructure-level risks with engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with health data regulations
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for speed and cost
• Improve developer feedback loops and experience
• Enhance system monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Define service-level indicators and business-impact alerts
• Support incident response and post-incident reviews
• Document infrastructure processes and best practices
• Advise leadership on speed and reliability trade-offs
