- 6+ years in data engineering
- Experience in leading junior data engineers
- Experience with Python, SQL Query Development, Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, ETL Development, Testing, Data Integration, AWS Development, Data Modeling, Data Vault, Data Warehousing, Git, CI/CD, Code Reviews, Data Lineage, JSON
- Client-facing project experience in collaborative teams
- Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA) and Quality systems
- Experience with AI-driven data solutions and machine learning pipelines
Tasks
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and storage solutions
- Lead the creation of FAIR data products
- Collaborate with process experts to model data landscapes
- Acquire, ingest, and process data from diverse sources
- Develop ERDs and reusable pipelines with data scientists
- Uphold data governance standards for regulatory compliance
- Address data quality issues to maintain asset accuracy
- Follow best practices in data engineering and validation
- Mentor junior engineers in engineering practices
- Ensure adherence to Information Security standards
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on technology stack
- Contribute to templates and best practices for technology
