Requirements
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- Several years of procurement experience
- Strategic sourcing and commodity management skills
- International supplier management and negotiation experience
- Technical understanding of machinery and equipment

- Proficiency in SAP, SRM, and e-procurement

Tasks
- Drive the strategic procurement agenda for EMEA commodities
- Implement regional strategies for Capital Equipment and Spare Parts
- Partner with manufacturing sites on strategic investment initiatives
- Ensure alignment with global procurement standards and ethics
- Execute regional category strategies for assigned commodities
- Conduct spend analyses and supply market benchmarking
- Evaluate and develop supplier performance and relationships
- Negotiate cost breakdowns and optimize payment terms
- Participate in cross-functional cost-reduction and product launch teams
- Maintain procurement systems including SAP and SRM
- Manage the full RFQ process for Capex projects
- Analyze technical specifications to support sourcing decisions
- Coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning
- Prepare Capex approval documentation and investment justifications
- Mitigate supply risks regarding lead times and capacity
- Optimize spare parts costs and inventory strategies
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in Capex tail spend
- Provide procurement expertise in investment project meetings
- Support stakeholders with market research and technical comparisons
