- Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel), strong organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
Tasks
- Prepare and operate CNC machines for 5-Axis and 3+2-Axis milling
- Interpret complex CAD drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Utilize Fanuc, Siemens, or Haidenhain controls and G-code CNC programming for 5-axis operations
- Load raw materials and parts, and run test cycles to ensure specifications are met
- Set machines for full production cycles to fabricate precision parts
- Supervise machine operations and adjust parameters for optimal results
- Inspect and measure finished products against technical requirements
- Perform daily machine checks and maintenance for proper functionality
- Create and optimize CAM programs in NX for complex parts
- Support CAD design tasks by modifying models and preparing manufacturing-ready data
- Design and develop tooling and fixturing concepts for complex machining operations
- Train and mentor new technicians, serving as a role model within the team
- Contribute to process improvements and advanced machining strategies
