Senior Cable Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in cable technology, high-voltage systems, or industrial manufacturing
- Strong technical understanding of cable systems and production processes
- Knowledge of international standards and quality requirements (advantageous)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Fluent German and English; additional languages are a plus
- Familiarity with D365 or similar ERP systems
- Project management experience (advantageous)
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Tasks
- Provide technical support for high-voltage and special cable systems
- Support cable design, specification, and material selection
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and project management teams
- Analyze technical requirements and customer specifications
- Support factory acceptance tests and cable testing activities
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cable-related issues
- Ensure compliance with international standards, safety regulations, and internal guidelines
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and product data
- Support installation and commissioning activities when required
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and external partners on technical topics
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
