M&A due diligence and cross-functional transaction management for rare disease and critical care therapies. 2-4 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience required. Modern office environment, independent project ownership.
Requirements
- Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, biotechnology, business, or related fields
- 2–4 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
- Preferred exposure to commercial roles
- Advantageous initial experience in business development, transactions, or project coordination
- Strong project management and complex workflow structuring skills
- Ability to synthesize scientific, commercial, and financial information
- High drive, ownership mentality, and proactiveness
- Experience with due diligence is a plus
- Beneficial basic understanding of business case modelling and financial forecasting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency in Office 365, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Willingness to travel
Tasks
- Support business development, contracting, and M&A due diligence
- Lead project management for transactions
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and track timelines
- Maintain structured transaction documentation
- Facilitate due diligence with Commercial, R&D, Finance, and Legal stakeholders
- Coordinate communication between internal teams and external partners
- Prepare negotiation materials and transaction summaries
- Perform scenario analyses
- Research therapeutic areas, assets, and company portfolios
- Conduct competitive analyses
- Support opportunity screening
- Create briefing materials for senior management
- Assist with business cases and financial models
- Develop topline assumptions and P&L forecasts
- Maintain BD databases
- Track projects and transaction milestones
- Improve processes within the Strategic Transactions function
