In this role, you will lead the development of innovative AI solutions, guiding teams from initial concepts to production. Your expertise will shape technical roadmaps, ensuring projects align with business goals while mentoring others along the way.

Requirements

• •Builder's mindset and track record of shipping
• •5–8+ years in data/ML/AI engineering or adjacent roles
• •Expert Python; solid software engineering
• •SQL required; Java/Scala/TypeScript a plus
• •Hands-on with ML/DL and LLMs
• •Deep experience on at least one major cloud
• •Containers (Docker/Kubernetes), Git, pipelines
• •Model serving (FastAPI/TorchServe/Triton)
• •Experiment tracking, model registry, vector DBs
• •Designing data/ML platforms, APIs, microservices
• •Requirements gathering, storytelling, senior stakeholder management
• •Fluency in German and English; French is a strong plus
• •Eligibility to work in Switzerland
• •Experience with responsible AI/governance frameworks
• •Domain experience in one or more industries
• •Contributions to open-source, publications, or conference talks

Tasks

• •Lead the design and delivery of AI and data solutions
• •Define end-to-end architectures for data, ML/LLM, APIs, and security
• •Make build/buy decisions for projects
• •Drive projects from proof of concept to production
• •Scope, prototype, and validate AI/ML use cases
• •Convert successful pilots into scalable products
• •Build, adapt, and evaluate ML/DL/LLM models using Python
• •Perform prompt engineering and fine-tuning
• •Design and operate solutions on Azure, GCP, or AWS
• •Translate business goals into technical roadmaps
• •Present to senior stakeholders and manage risks
• •Enforce best practices for data privacy and responsible AI
• •Coach engineers and consultants, performing code reviews
• •Support proposals and contribute to thought leadership
