Requirements

  • 15+ years in biopharma
  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent)
  • Deep clinical expertise in Immunology, Hematology, or Cardiovascular/Renal
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing late-stage deals
  • Strong understanding of regulatory pathways and market access

Tasks

  • Serve as the senior leader in Search & Evaluation
  • Influence therapeutic strategy and integrate late-stage innovation priorities
  • Lead proactive sourcing for Phase 2 to marketed assets
  • Identify opportunities that align with therapeutic area strategy
  • Co-lead internal meetings to evaluate and prioritize New Product Opportunities
  • Engage with external Key Opinion Leaders and clinical investigators
  • Validate asset potential and understand trial designs and clinical endpoints
  • Maintain awareness of changing standards of care and competitive landscapes
  • Drive cross-functional due diligence for late-stage assets
  • Coordinate clinical, regulatory, commercial, and market access assessments
  • Partner with Business Development and Regional Ecosystem Leads
  • Advance high-priority opportunities through negotiation and deal closure
  • Represent the therapeutic area at specialized conferences
  • Build relationships with pharma, biotech, and clinical communities
