In this role, you will spearhead innovative research in organoid single-cell genomics, guiding analyses and mentoring students while contributing to impactful publications and collaborating on diverse projects.

Requirements

• •Passion for computational biology
• •Collaboration skills
• •Strong record of high-impact data analysis
• •PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
• •Minimum of 10 years of experience in genomics data analysis
• •Expertise in accessible chromatin and multi-omic data integration
• •Proven track record of developing computational tools or performing high-impact data analysis
• •Excellent social and communication skills
• •Fluency in English

Tasks

• •Lead computational analyses for single-cell transcriptomics and multi-omic datasets
• •Compare in vitro human model systems to primary tissue reference atlases
• •Analyze single-cell perturbation datasets to validate disease models
• •Oversee and maintain computational resources for the research group
• •Supervise and train PhD and Master’s students
• •Contribute to and lead manuscript writing for high-priority projects
• •Apply knowledge of human neural organoid models to advance research goals
• •Collaborate across the institute on multidisciplinary initiatives
