Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment
  • Ability to follow SOPs and work with precision
  • Good documentation and organizational skills
  • Adherence to safety protocols (laminar flow)
  • Familiarity with biologics and aseptic handling
  • Understanding of packaging materials (glass, elastomers, lubricant systems)
  • Experience with analytical tools (HPLC, HAIC, MFI, balance, etc.)
  • Handling of biologic formulations and sterile components
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Collaboration and ability to work under supervision and in a team
  • Fine interpersonal, networking, and teamwork skills
  • Proactive and independent work style

Tasks

  • Manage syringe and stopper samples from various suppliers
  • Prepare protocols and execute studies for characterizing prefilled syringes
  • Conduct physico-chemical tests for proteins
  • Perform physical characterization tests for syringes and stoppers
  • Conduct visual inspections for defects per established SOPs
  • Execute stability studies at different time points
  • Document raw data, observations, and deviations accurately
  • Compile reports and prepare presentations
  • Collaborate with drug product lead, device lead, and lab supervisors
  • Attend team meetings and provide updates on study progress
  • Support communication with external vendors or packaging suppliers as needed

Education

  • Bachelor's degreeOR
  • Master's degree
