Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Process Engineering, or comparable field
  • Solid professional experience in technical sales or application-oriented consulting, ideally with a focus on polymer additives or functional plastics
  • Self-driven and structured working style with strong understanding of technical and commercial dynamics
  • Willingness to travel and enthusiasm for working with international customers
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus

Tasks

  • Manage and develop an existing customer portfolio for polymer additives
  • Identify and unlock new sales opportunities focused on technical solutions
  • Advise customers on additives for flame retardancy, foaming, and other functionalities
  • Handle the entire sales process, from preparing offers to managing margins
  • Document all activities in the CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and acquire new customers
  • Implement global and regional sales strategies
  • Serve as an interface between Customer Service and Product Development
  • Monitor market and technology trends and conduct competitive analyses
  • Contribute insights to marketing and innovation strategies
