Requirements

  • University degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field, or Technicians HF qualification
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and understanding of mechanical design principles
  • Proven project management experience in agile environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly, prioritise effectively, and manage projects through iterative development
  • Skilled at translating technical concepts into precise CAD drawings and documentation
  • Experience in workflow management, process optimisation, and/or Lean Management with focus on continuous improvement
  • Sound knowledge of thermodynamic processes, vibration absorption, and static/dynamic calculations
  • Hands-on experience in new product development and industrialisation
  • Practical mindset with strong manual skills and attention to detail
  • German language skills
  • English language skills
  • Must be located in or able to relocate to specified locations without sponsorship

Tasks

  • Drive R&D projects from concept to completion
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
  • Lead mechanical component design and development using CAD
  • Ensure product feasibility and manufacturability
  • Create and maintain technical drawings and 3D models
  • Drive new product development from idea to serial production
  • Plan and monitor project schedules and costs
  • Negotiate with external partners and suppliers
  • Oversee supplier management and performance
  • Perform manual pre-calculations for product planning
  • Lead or support prototype construction
  • Plan, perform, and document test series
  • Develop and train assembly processes (SOPs)
  • Support documentation preparation for serial production
  • Ensure technical knowledge transfer within the company
  • Contribute to process improvement
  • Review and approve project-related invoices
  • Support production with engineering expertise
