- Improve accuracy of algorithms for industrial robotics
- Deploy algorithms on industrial robotics workcells
- Gauge sim-to-real transfer of models
- Provide input for synthetic data generation and annotations
- Identify gaps in sim-to-real transfer for training models
- Collaborate with research partners and engineering teams
- Ideate new approaches for real-world industrial applications
- Explore unfamiliar technologies for continuous learning
- Proactively identify needs and bottlenecks in customer problems
- Propose practical solutions for high throughput environments
- Serve as a liaison between robotics and research teams
- Provide engineering insights into research projects
- Advise cross-functional teams on translating AI research into engineering
- Document and develop prototypes for external users
- Collaborate with R&D and other product groups
