Requirements

  • •Strong background in applied physics, engineering, or related field
  • •Research experience in applied physics and engineering linked to experimental systems
  • •Interest in pursuing a career in research or academia
  • •PhD or obtaining it within six months, with no more than 3 years’ research experience
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to experimental systems
  • •Ability to work collaboratively in large, international teams
  • •Effective communication in scientific and technical environments
  • •Ability to work independently while contributing to project objectives
  • •Nationality of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State
  • •Good knowledge of English or French

Doctoral / PhD

Tasks

  • •Conduct post-doctoral research in applied physics and engineering
  • •Design and develop physics experiments or experimental setups
  • •Deploy and operate experimental setups
  • •Collaborate with physicists, engineers, and technical experts on large-scale projects
