R&D Programm Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience managing complex, multi‑site R&D programs
• Proficiency with agile/scrum methodologies and PM tools
• Strong financial acumen for forecasting and budgeting
• Understanding of electromechanical product development processes
• Familiarity with global product standards (IEC/UL/CE)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity for industrial products
• Good English, German, and Italian skills
• Understanding of ETO and CTO production processes
• Knowledge of industrialization basics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities
• Structured, analytical, and proactive mindset
• Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams
• Motivation to drive change and deliver results

Tasks

• Plan and execute strategic R&D programs
• Develop next-generation industrial UPS systems
• Manage project scope, cost, and schedule
• Ensure quality and worldwide product norms
• Meet certification and cybersecurity requirements
• Establish robust project governance
• Lead cross-functional project teams
• Align global R&D centers in Switzerland, Italy, and Malaysia
• Steer the R&D portfolio
• Manage financial forecasting and budget tracking
• Improve Gutor’s development processes
• Set up monoblock and modular UPS platforms
• Structure projects using OCP and agile methodologies
• Define deliverables and resource plans
• Drive decision-making through steering committees
• Maintain PMO standards and reporting frameworks
• Participate in quarterly business reviews
• Report on project status and risks
• Implement risk mitigation actions
• Support the Head of R&D with forecasting
• Ensure compliance with IEC and UL standards
• Integrate cybersecurity into product architecture
• Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes
• Address compliance impacts proactively
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams
• Facilitate communication between global hubs
• Manage handover to industrialization and launch
