R&D Leader & Product Line Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Master degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or equivalent
- At least 10 years' experience as Product Line Manager leading R&D for high/medium voltage/electronics products in an international industrial B2B environment
- Successful track record and proven working experience in product line management and driving R&D teams
- Technical knowledge and working experience in high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy, robotics, or equipment industry
- Interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems and corresponding product needs
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities
- Client oriented business and development approach
- Proven ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
- Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in MS-Office programs, 3D-tools knowledge desirable
- English written and oral proficiency
- French and/or German desirable
Tasks
- Lead R&D team for AC-Off-Load products, Modboxes, and Pantographs
- Enhance products and product portfolio technically
- Ensure timely realization of R&D roadmap
- Maintain R&D budgets
- Ensure commercial success of product lines
- Provide technical product maintenance
- Manage project teams for customer projects
- Meet project timelines, cost, and quality targets
- Manage R&D activities for AC-Off-Load products, Modboxes, and Pantographs
- Meet development targets for product maturity, timing, quality, and cost
- Improve products in the long term
- Coordinate R&D teams in Geneva, Prague, Manchester, and Milano
- Control projects respecting development phases
- Manage product standardization
- Manage technical state of the art
- Manage design to cost
- Manage design for manufacturing
- Ensure safety function in customer applications
- Stimulate R&D activities for feasibility studies
- Manage R&D budgets
- Implement procedures and tools to improve productivity
- Implement procedures and tools for project transparency
- Implement procedures and tools for R&D transparency
- Manage R&D resources
- Manage project resources
- Set priorities for R&D and project resources
- Ensure appropriate training for R&D and project teams
- Ensure performance in line with expectations
- Foster external R&D collaboration with working groups
