Requirements
- Background in radar sensor technology (RF, interfaces, calibration, validation)
- Profound experience in component responsibility (BTV) activities (requirement engineering, testing, project management, release procedures) within automotive branch with automotive standards
- Strong knowledge of OEM development processes (PEP, ASPICE, corporate release procedures)
- Advanced knowledge of corporate tools for requirements, change, and quality management
- Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF
- University degree in electronics, engineering, or similar, and professional experience in automotive industry
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- High degree of ownership and proactive working style
- Team-oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach
- Confident stakeholder communication (internal teams, international suppliers)
Tasks
- Manage radar technical maturity and compliance.
- Oversee project delivery from concept to SOP.
- Serve as primary cross-functional interface.
- Oversee radar sensor product development.
- Align development with VW/MOIA milestone requirements.
- Define supplier requirements documents.
- Track supplier design data and safety artifacts.
- Ensure timely delivery of supplier verification reports.
- Lead technical reviews.
- Steer international Tier-1 suppliers.
- Lead planning and tracking of validation activities.
- Manage hardware and software validation.
- Coordinate radar test bench KPI tests.
- Oversee simulations and vehicle integration tests.
- Define and maintain DV/PV and reporting requirements.
- Ensure traceability and coverage for safety, performance, and homologation.
- Create and refine specifications.
- Create and refine requirements documents.
- Create and refine verification plans.
- Maintain component approval processes using corporate tools.
- Ensure supplier documentation completeness and audit readiness.
- Contribute to design reviews.
- Contribute to safety analysis and FMEAs.
- Contribute to milestone reviews.
