Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or graduate degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- In-depth knowledge of measurement technology
- Design experience with CAD programs (preferably CATIA)
- Experience with turbomachinery is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for theoretical and experimental work
- Fluent German and English
- High flexibility and good organizational skills
- Team and results-oriented working style with high personal initiative
Tasks
- Plan and lead instrumentation tasks
- Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly
- Perform and document tests on turbochargers
- Design mechanical rework and sensor instrumentation
- Advise and support test and development teams
- Contribute knowledge to product development
- Manage instrumentation projects
- Coordinate tasks within and across teams
- Cooperate on interdisciplinary projects
- Develop measurement methods and testing infrastructure
- Enhance strain, vibration, and temperature measurement
- Improve data transmission from rotating systems
- Take ownership of your expertise area
