Tasks

  • Develop and maintain quantitative models for gas and LNG pricing
  • Enhance fundamental supply/demand models for key gas markets
  • Construct statistical and econometric models for trading signals
  • Develop tools for scenario and stress testing of gas positions
  • Monitor global gas and LNG market developments
  • Analyze supply/demand balances, storage levels, and weather impacts
  • Produce regular market reports and ad hoc analysis
  • Track macroeconomic and energy policy developments
  • Source and clean large datasets from data providers
  • Automate data pipelines and reporting workflows
  • Integrate analytical outputs into trading systems
  • Collaborate with gas traders to understand commercial needs
  • Translate commercial needs into quantitative frameworks
  • Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support risk management with exposure analysis
  • Provide mark-to-market reporting
