  • Green Belt Certification preferred
  • Expert knowledge of can making process
  • Ability to transfer process knowledge
  • Capability in equipment setup and troubleshooting

  • Experience with line launches or rebuilds

Tasks

  • Optimize processes for quality and chemical usage
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and prescriptions
  • Meet efficiency and spoilage targets for new builds and line conversions
  • Deliver compliant and specification-conforming products during start-up
  • Monitor processes and materials for food safety compliance
  • Take immediate action on quality deviations
  • Oversee inspections and finished product audits
  • Maintain and calibrate gauges and measurement equipment
  • Provide expert support for operational quality issues
  • Track quality trends to identify early signals of variation
  • Initiate corrective actions to improve process capability
  • Implement and maintain ISO and HACCP systems
  • Execute SOPs and SPC tools during ramp-up
  • Train staff on quality expectations and defect prevention
  • Ensure trained backups for critical food safety roles
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce process variability
  • Analyze quality data to drive decision-making
  • Resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis
  • Manage quality requirements for new product trials
  • Provide emergency breakdown support and diagnostic capability
  • Support accurate and efficient size conversions
  • Capture lessons learned to enhance future equipment builds
  • Implement BOE standards for safety and maintenance pillars
