Requirements
- Relevant experience in quality engineering
- Hands-on experience with 8D Reports, SCAR, and AQL
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Business-level English
- Beneficial German skills for local collaboration
- Experience with custom mechanical/electronic components
- Audit experience (internal or supplier)
- Familiarity with ERP or QMS systems
- Experience supporting or scaling hardware production
- Regular on-site collaboration at Munich location
Tasks
- Strengthen supplier and incoming quality processes
- Perform first sample inspections for newly developed custom parts
- Plan and prioritize incoming inspections using AQL frameworks
- Coordinate quality checks for serial production parts
- Document and track nonconformities
- Communicate findings to suppliers
- Manage supplier corrective action processes (8D, SCAR)
- Ensure sustainable resolution of quality issues
- Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments
- Perform on-site or remote supplier audits
- Define and coordinate outgoing inspections for critical components
- Take ownership of supplier quality KPIs
- Drive measurable improvements in nonconformity rates
- Drive measurable improvements in supplier response/resolution times
- Maintain and improve incoming goods inspection documentation
- Identify systemic issues
- Implement sustainable improvements
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality standards
