- 5+ years project management experience
- Profound knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, tools & techniques
- 2+ years product/equipment development in regulated industries (medical devices, automotive, aerospace)
- Engineering degree or similar
- English fluency
- Advanced time and risk management skills
- Ability to encourage teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to influence decisions for project success
- PMP Certification preferred
- Experience with digital project management tools (MS Project, PLM)
- Relatively high seniority for collaboration with senior staff
- Other languages advantage, preferably German
Tasks
- Execute projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Manage projects from intake to production handover
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet project goals
- Plan and manage project budgets and resources
- Define project scope, objectives, and milestones with sponsors
- Forecast and allocate necessary resources
- Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team
- Monitor project performance and implement improvements
- Conduct risk management and early risk escalation
- Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes
- Develop detailed project schedules and work plans
- Coordinate internal and third-party resources
- Track project schedules and deliverables
- Manage project budgets according to approved orders
- Lead regular project team meetings
- Organize project steering meetings
- Conduct design review meetings
- Facilitate gate review meetings
- Provide monthly progress reports to PMO and stakeholders
- Adhere to global PM processes and practices
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
- Engage with Business Development from project incubation
- Maintain customer communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Serve as customer contact for projects without a program manager
- Report to the program manager in matrix-structured projects
